By editing phages and E. coli, this project aims to verify long-term, specific, and effective treatment of citrus by attacking the genetic features of CLas and D. citri. Small RNA would be effectively yielded from a cell-free synthesis system to interfere with key genes in D. cirtri; Engineered phage would be produced to specifically infect CLas and eliminate it by triggering the LdtR transcription system; Antimicrobial peptide would be produced from E. coli for CLas elimination.
