Lab Access
To access the lab space, please submit a Lab Access Request using the Innovation Lab Qualtrics.
As requested by the Qualtrics website, users need to fill in:
Check-out time
The estimated check-out time is for us to avoid scheduling conflicts, and users still need to report the actual check-out time in the check-out request.
Name & Contact
Users who wish to access the lab in a group need to report information for everyone who is accessing together. The user submitting the request will be the primary contact.
Support
If users require professional support or other customized demand, please specify in their request, and we will review case-by-case.
Result notification
After submission, users will receive approval or denial notifications via email in 1-3 business days. It is users’ responsibility to submit requests in advance, and we reserve the rights to not adopting urgent requests.
There is a laser projector (HDMI input), microphones (one handheld and one wearable), loudspeakers, and cameras (one front and one back, USB Type-A output) in the lab. Batteries for microphones are provided.
We are able to offer basic IT audio/video supports, but if users need advanced IT supports (for example, moveable screen or Ethernet), please specific in the request, and we will help contact IT Office for professional support.
There are five tables and twenty chairs in the lab, as well as six whiteboards and six pinboards. All the previously mentioned facilities are equipped with moveable wheels and locks. We are able to set up the lab using those existing facilities, but if users need extra facilities, please specific in the request, and we will help contact Campus Services for further support.
To finish their usage at the innovation lab, users are required to submit a check-out request also in the Innovation Lab Qualtrics, so that we can better prepare for the next user.
As requested by the Qualtrics website, users need to fill in:

Users are required to turn off all the IT facilities and electronic appliances when check-out. If they believe they have special reasons, please specific in the check-out request.
