2021 College Student Innovative and Entrepreneurship Training Program is in full swing at Kunshan Duke University. The Ministry of Education has started the College Student Innovative and Entrepreneurship Training Program (aka “Da Chuang“) since 2015, encouraging students to participate earlier in scientific research, technology development and entrepreneurship simulation, entrepreneurship practice, and other innovative entrepreneurship activities. The program aims to strengthen students’ capacities of innovation and entrepreneurship and enhance the spirit of innovation, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial awareness.

Project Selection
Innovation Training Project (ITP): The innovative training program allows student teams or individuals to complete the innovative research project design themselves, prepare of research condition and project implementation, writing research reports and academic communication, etc., emphasizing the practical training and exercise of students from the basics of scientific research and cultivating students’ innovation under the guidance of tutors.
Entrepreneurship Training Project (ETP): Under the guidance of a mentor, the student team will divide the roles of team members, write a business plan, conduct feasibility study, simulate business operation, participate in business practice, write the entrepreneurial report, etc.
Entrepreneurship Practice Project (EPP): Under the joint guidance of a school mentor and an enterprise mentor, the student team can use the results of a pre-ITP (or innovative experiment) to propose an innovative product or service with market prospects as a basis for entrepreneurial practice activities.
