Dachuang Final Pitch
Q&A with current Dachuang teams
Q1. Any motivation for you to participate in/create this Dachuang project?
Jiarui Ma: The inspiration for the project stems from the inconvenience of not being able to charge electronic devices while going out with friends without carrying power banks and charging cables. As a result, it is associated with creating a shared ecosystem on campus, where people can access power banks, umbrellas, sports equipment, and other resources, fostering a sustainable campus community ecology.

Yuanfei Hu: Interest piqued, I was immediately captivated by the title “Shape of Pain” as I perused the professor’s project list. Upon delving into the introduction, my curiosity was further stirred by the concept of pain visualization. Motivated by this intrigue, I made the decision to join the project.

Jiayu Guo: Upon joining, I was invited by our founder and engineer, Maoxuan Shan. He shared a product demo with me and eagerly sought my inspiration and suggestions. After trying out the demo, I found myself deeply intrigued by the product. It is positioned as an interactive community utilizing AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) and LLM (Large Language Model) as its backdrop aligns perfectly with the current trends and the direction I aspire to explore in the future. It was serendipitous that I joined the project as a product manager.

Q2. What are your long-term vision and goals for the project?
Jinmu Liang: The long-term vision of the project is to study and analyze the methods of expressing pain relatively objectively through the observation of infrared thermal imaging and different people’s expressions of pain.
—Shape of Pain
Jiayu Guo: Our project’s product focuses on users within the interactive community conceiving and completing their own stories (which we refer to as dreams) with the assistance of a large language model. Users will no longer need to rely solely on themselves to write down the content word-for-word or wait for their favorite authors’ slow updates. Therefore, the long-term vision and goal are to dismantle the barriers between creators and readers, enabling every user to construct their own stories.

Q3. Now as a newcomer to Dachuang, what suggestions do you have for future applicants?
Jinmu Liang: On the road ahead, I hope that every participant can bravely explore and showcase their strengths. Seize opportunities and leverage the unique contributions of each team member, as this will give our project tremendous significance. Whether you are a creator, collaborator, or supporter, your contributions will add momentum and value to the team.
