SSO is a general-purpose web search engine that targets medium-sized organizations and is designed with search quality, scalability, and ease of maintenance in mind. For a medium-sized organization, due to constant lack of available IT professionals, improving search engine quality may be at low priority. However, by deploying SSO, IT could provide high-quality search services to website users with little effort, saving a great amount of time for either side. SSO will employ a software as a service business model, or provide remote maintenance services as an alternative, when off-site deployment is unfeasible.
