Study on Photo-Fenton Enhanced Degradation of Sulfadiazine
Team Name: Sean Courpus
Currently, industrial plants have become more aware of wastewater treatments. However, organic substances, especially antibiotics, are hard to be degraded using the traditional method, causing difficulties for medical plants and other industrial plants that produce organic substances. Hence, I used the Photo-Fenton reaction to enhance the degradation process using sulfadiazine as an ingredient, which is a commonly seen antibiotic, and gained significant results. This project will seek future applications for the experiments.
