Everchem Labs is a team with a keen interest in investigating the molecular mechanisms that underlie environmentally persistent chemicals on human physiology. Among those are the GenX and PFAS ‘forever compounds’ that coat various everyday products and bear a higher risk of accumulating in human’s bodies. Due to the prevalence of GenX and PFAS in groundwater and soil, their findings shall be especially relevant to the policy and regulatory decisions of organizations such as the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and World Health Organization (WHO) on important community concerns (e.g. determining a safe level of chemical exposure on drinking water).
