Practice and Mentorship

Dii offers Innovation & Entrepreneurship Adventures as the main practical program for our participants. Innovation & Entrepreneurship Adventures is designed to enhance the development of students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to succeed in their projects by solving challenging problems in an uncertain environment.

We hope to engage students in a real-life, hands-on Innovational and entrepreneurial process, from idea generation and opportunity identification to implementing, managing, and running an innovation/start-up project that fills in the gaps in the continuum from idea generation to business creation.

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Adventures address entrepreneurial behavior and thinking fundamentals, allowing students to understand the importance of market research, feasibility analysis, business model development through hands-on entrepreneurship, and engaging in real-world competition. The program provides an excellent foundation for students to develop an entrepreneurial spirit and to take responsibility and risks to create more value for society in the future.

Dii will work with the student team to develop a viable initial business plan and follow up and provide coaching throughout the execution of the plan. Each team will have the opportunity to meet with Dr. LI Fang (Frank) every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon by appointment via https://calendly.com/frank-lifang/dii-team-meeting, for which the team founder will need to coordinate the time of the team co-founder and other members to maintain communication and close contact with Dii. Dii invites external advisors and mentors to provide guidance in specific areas occasionally and has an expanding advisory board.

All teams are strongly encouraged to participate in national and international innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Teams can participate in competitions according to their interests and focus areas and receive guidance and support from our advisors and experts.
