We aim to transform this memorization challenge into an engaging activity by developing a gamified mobile application that harnesses learners’ creativity while fostering linguistic curiosity. Unlike existing solutions that follow rigid curricula with limited flexibility, our application employs interactive character construction, personalized memory associations, and AI-powered assistance to create meaningful connections between characters, meanings, and pronunciations. Our project supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) while celebrating the unique composition and rich history of the Chinese writing system, ultimately facilitating greater cross-cultural understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
