AI-powered Solar Energy Conversion via Photoredox Catalysis
Team Name: PhotonLeap
We present an AI-driven approach to solar energy conversion through innovative photoredox catalysis. This project aims to revolutionize the discovery and application of organic photoredox catalysts by leveraging advanced large language models (LLMs) to efficiently extract, organize, and analyze key catalyst properties from scientific literature. By building a high-quality, structured database, we will train AI models to predict critical catalyst properties and establish relationships between catalytic performance and molecular features. The ultimate goal is to develop a user-friendly Photoredox Catalysis Chatbot, which will recommend optimal catalysts for specific reactions based on input conditions. This innovative tool has the potential to streamline catalyst selection, enhance synthesis strategies, and accelerate advancements in photoredox catalysis for solar energy conversion across various chemical disciplines.
