In the USA alone 4.1 trillion dollars is annually spent on healthcare, 80% of which is on chronic disease consequences. Most of these diseases are almost completely preventable and reversible. Moreover, 93.2% of Americans have a kind of metabolic disease, which speeds up biological aging. Sick individuals do not make the most of their lives, which has an impact on their self-efficacy, which lowers their self-esteem. In consequence, this project creates a frustrated society with diminished productive potential. Mitigating and then optimizing the biological consequences of metabolic diseases provides an enormous improvement in overall mental and physical health in individuals, which further translates to societal improvement. Achieving it is available at hand provided people get easily digestible knowledge on why it matters. By creating trendy, viral videos which provide analogies between scientific biological background and current events, this project will create a stream of communication that will allow people to optimize their biological age markers, allowing for the elimination of confirmation bias in the “elderly” stereotype.
