China has 20 million persons with visual impairment (PVI in short), who remain largely invisible in daily life. Group exercise serves as a practical way to boost their social engagement. After visiting to special schools, we found that visually impaired students are limited to simple sports and lack interaction in team activities. This project integrates traditional guided running with university campus runs, pairing college students with visually impaired students. It helps the visually impaired connect more with society and gives students a rewarding sense of achievement. Starting as a charity program, it will later adopt a marathon model to secure government funding and commercial sponsorships.
