YAS is a human-in-the-loop grading assistant built for K-12 teachers in China. Teachers spend 8-13 hours per week on after-hours grading – YAS reduces this burden by automating objective question scoring (>99% accuracy) and generating rubric-based draft feedback for subjective responses, which teachers review and approve via a “Traffic Light” queue. Compliance-by-design architecture handles student data redaction and supports private deployment, meeting 2024-2025 Chinese education regulations. YAS shifts AI from a replacement to a co-pilot, delivering measurable time savings while preserving teacher authority.
