Edge IoT

Edge-IoT aims to establish a robust, scalable IoT infrastructure for Duke Kunshan University’s campus. Initially inspired by the potential of Bluetooth signal data, the project has evolved to focus on developing a comprehensive hardware and software framework. This platform will include Over-The-Air (OTA) update capabilities and flexible Input/Output (IO) ports for future sensor integrations. The primary goal is to create a centralized system that enhances campus management by providing real-time data on room occupancy, helping students find available team rooms efficiently and supporting a wide range of future smart campus applications. This project sets a foundation for seamless integration of advanced technologies, ensuring sustainable and intelligent campus operations.
