Our project uses cross-platform data analysis and interviews with older adults to examine how official vaccine information differs across platforms such as government websites, WeChat public accounts, and Douyin, as well as how seniors receive and interpret these messages. Using a mixed-methods approach, the project will produce an academic report and an age-friendly communication handbook for community use, aiming to improve grassroots vaccine communication and reduce information mismatch and vaccine hesitancy.
