ESG is an acronym for Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance. ESG investing refers to investment practices that integrate traditional financial analysis with a comprehensive assessment of the environmental, social, and corporate governance dimensions. This approach aims to evaluate the long-term growth prospects of enterprises. In the short term, ESG investing focuses on identifying green investment targets that can generate shareholder interest, while its ultimate aspiration is to foster transformative societal change through the principles of green finance. The significance of the ESG track is to combine traditional financial investment with sustainable development and social responsibility, emphasizing the consideration of a project’s environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices in investment decisions, in order to achieve more comprehensive and sustainable value creation.
