In Spring 2023, U-Corp Lab collaborated with four enterprise partners to launch six innovative projects focusing on technology-driven community operations, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategic planning, overseas brand marketing, future social design challenges, and rural education empowerment for NGOs. During the project, the InE team from Duke Kunshan University led students in field visits and interviews related to the project, providing students with firsthand data and cultivating their creative thinking skills. Through inspiring observations of the real world, the students were able to enhance their skills, enrich their research and innovation methods, and accumulate relevant experience, laying the foundation for their future learning, research, innovation, and design. This has profound implications for their future deep observation, perception, and practice in their respective fields.
The results of this project poster report are both the participants’ ultimate challenge and an excellent opportunity to showcase their fruitful achievements. Over the past five weeks, with the support of DKU InE and partner enterprises/organizations, participants have been able to roam freely in their desired fields, providing new directions for partner enterprises/organizations’ upward development and launching many creative new activities on the beautiful DKU campus.

Project Introduction
U-Corp is the abbreviation of the Duke Kunshan University-Corporation Innovation Lab, a co-innovation platform that connects innovative organizations/companies with the vibrant DKU research and entrepreneurial community. The goal is to provide DKU students the opportunity to master industry-proven innovation research methodologies through productive practice and co-creation projects with companies. Meanwhile, the projects also offer cooperative enterprises with forward-looking insights and innovative solutions.
During this final poster show, students will present their projects, including project background, research results and insights, and project experience. More importantly, attendees will also be able to exchange critical ideas with presenters during the poster presentation and seek the U-Corp application experience.
Looking forward to meeting you on May 13th!
