Echoing Nature: Pioneering New Media Forms to Intertwine Local Folk Songs with Biodiversity Narratives
In this project, students will seek to understand how media can effectively combine the power of folk music with biodiversity conservation narratives; Explore innovative media formats and platforms that can effectively represent both folk music and biodiversity protection narratives; Engage with local communities in Wolong, the Three River Sources, and other selected regions to co-create media content that fuses their musical traditions with biodiversity messages; Assess the impact and reception of the newly created media content among diverse audiences.
Expected Students: 4-5 students.
Expected Working Hours: 6-10 hours/week.
Project Period: 12 months.
