An Exploratory Study on the Creative Class Who Migrated from Urban to Villages in the Context of Rural Revitalization in China

This study will focus on the Creative Talents who migrated from the urban to the villages by using ethnographic research such as observation, interviews, and documentaries. First, understand who they are, how they perceive themselves; where they locate; how a place could attract them; and how they differ from their urban counterparts. Second, explore how they interact with the local community culturally and socially, how they influence the villages, and, in contrast, how the locals influence them. Third, examine the role the group plays in the process of rural revitalization; and how the village can provide a better environment to maximize the value of the creative talents in the long term.
