-
Participants leave the classroom and work with real campus nature (soil moisture, plant rhythms, wind and light), using microcontrollers, sensors and interactive systems.
-
Two project directions: Care (systems that support or nurture the environment, e.g. helping plants grow, monitoring conditions) and Harmony (making invisible environmental processes visible or audible, e.g. visualizing microclimate, turning plant activity into sound).
-
Skills gained: full-stack environmental IoT engineering, techno-ecological interface design, and building durable, site-specific hardware prototypes. Some works may be displayed on campus as long-term installations.
-
Course flow: Days 1-2 environmental sensing and system building; Days 3-4 networked systems and prototype development; Days 5-6 final demo and public showcase.
-
Commitment: only students who attend the full program as required receive the official workshop completion certificate.
