DKUers, Come Take a Look! Your Creative Ideas Can Come to Life at InE
At DKU, innovation is a belief in daring to imagine and daring to try. DKU InE (the Duke Kunshan University Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center) believes that every idea worth changing the world begins with one sentence: “Why not give it a try?” Whether you want to independently develop smart hardware, build a public-welfare product, or turn what you learn in class into a real startup project — you can find your own starting point at InE.
Dii Innovation Incubator — Where Inspiration Lands
Dii (DKU INNOVATION INCUBATOR) is an innovation incubator dedicated to DKU student teams, providing systematic resource support to student innovators and entrepreneurs. If your idea has value, passing the selection process unlocks a full package of innovation support: startup funding; year-round systematic training covering user insight, business models, and social innovation; and one-on-one mentoring from senior industry professionals — helping you turn your idea into a sustainable outcome or a real business project.
Dii does not fixate on a perfect business plan, nor does it value polished paper proposals. There is only one thing we truly care about: can your creativity bring positive change to life, to society, and even to the world?

Co-Innovate — Creating Real Social Impact
As one of DKU’s key collaborative innovation platforms, Co-Innovate regularly opens real, implementable projects every semester. Its partner resources cover a wide range of organizations, including quality enterprises, public-welfare organizations, and community public institutions. Project tracks cover popular directions such as technological innovation, design and art, and public-welfare and social services.
Here, you will break out of the single classroom-assignment mode. Your creative outcomes may be directly adopted by partner organizations, and your research conclusions may influence real decisions. At Co-Innovate, knowledge from textbooks carries real-world weight.

Innovation Hub — Where Creativity Happens Right Now
Whether you are a complete beginner or a hands-on expert, Innovation Hub’s four functional spaces adapt to all your creative needs:
-
Open Studio: a dedicated brainstorming space supporting low-risk, rapid trial-and-error and early prototypes;
-
Fab Studio: newly upgraded equipment covering 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining;
-
Dark Studio: a professional material-processing space with standardized safety processes;
-
Digital Studio: covering AR/VR development, motion capture, game engines, interactive media, and other digital-creation fields.
Beginners need not worry about a slow start or difficult operations. In the new semester, InHub will run regular skills training — from Open House days to various workshops, from beginner lessons and hands-on practice to project polishing and final landing, InHub will support your innovation practice end to end.
