Co-Innovate Project
Starting from the real world, giving innovation warmth.
-
Study visit: a research-study activity at the Liuyue Museum, where students explored folk artifacts and traditional crafts.
-
Project showcase: student teams presented how they turn classroom knowledge into practical solutions to social challenges.
-
Two forums: public welfare and social innovation, and putting sustainable development into action; guests’ candid sharing inspired young people to join social innovation.
-
Workshops: LEGO® Serious Play® workshop (building new ways to solve complex problems with bricks) and a dance workshop (“此时舞声”) using body language to build a community that understands without sound.

Lab & Maker On-site Projects Showcase (InLab)
Turning whimsical ideas into tangible works.
If Co-Innovate is about “why create,” InLab answers “how to create.”

-
Mini Maker Faire: AI chatbots and dynamic art installations, with creators and visitors interacting up close.
-
Vibe Pop-up Party Night: real-time coding and visual generation let everyone shape the atmosphere.
-
Workshops and open day: AI laser-cutting workshop (wooden crafts); Lab Open Day with AR/VR and 3D printing experiences; 3D scanning and printing workshop to make a personal mascot keepsake.
-
Takeaway: with steady effort, the “impossible” becomes within reach.

Dii Pitch Session
Letting every startup seed break ground here.
Dii (DKU Innovation Incubator) showed how a young startup idea grows into a viable project with systematic support.
-
48-hour youth mental health hackathon: interdisciplinary teams raced to build technology prototypes that respond to real social pain points.

-
Documentary screening, Crafted Legacy: audiences viewed the inheritance and change of Vietnamese craft villages and reflected on paths for tradition to innovate in modern society.
-
Green Mission board game workshop: simulated real sustainability challenges through play.
-
Startup Fair: startup teams built their own booths, from product prototypes to interactive experiences, showing results to passing students and faculty and collecting real user feedback. The post calls it the first stop where startup dreams meet market testing.
Closing Message
Participants gained not only knowledge and skills but also an atmosphere and a belief. At Duke Kunshan University, innovation is never a slogan but a continuous practice, and it lasts beyond one week.
