Biorobots, engineering robots, industrial robots — robots are almost everywhere in our lives. Have you ever wanted to create your own robot but didn’t know where to start? While it’s possible to assemble a robot using standardized parts, unleashing your imagination might require delving into 3D printing. On the evening of January 25th, join the 3D printing workshop at the Innovation Lab. Let’s explore the contributions of 3D printing and modeling to the world of robotics.
In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to design and model non-standardized parts using Solidworks, one of the most widely used tools in contemporary industrial machine design. We will guide you step by step, starting from sketch construction, to help you create the parts you envision. The most exciting part is that you can also bring your ideas to life on the spot using a computer!
